Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor required.
  • Must have experience with NEC forms of contract.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct valuations and manage change control/compensation events.

Job description

Trant Engineering has been awarded a place on the South West Water Framework and this will provide the Trant Process and Water sector with a portfolio of work on clean water and wastewater non-infrastructure assets over the next 10 years, across AMP8 and AMP9.

We are now recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team, working from our regional office in Exeter. The Quantity Surveyor will report to the Commercial Manager for the South West Water Framework and will also work closely with the project teams to manage the commercial function for projects under their control, using NEC forms of contract.

  • Change Control / Compensation Events
  • Subcontractor Procurement
  • CVR's
  • Early Warnings
  • Monthly Commercial Reporting
  • Cash Flow Forecasts
  • Subcontractor Payments
  • Final accounts
  • Desired Skills / Background
  • HNC/HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or by experience (Essential)
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor (Essential)
