Job summary

A leading fuel solutions company in Dundee seeks a Quality Inspection Supervisor to manage the quality inspection team. This role focuses on leading the inspection area and ensuring compliance with standards. Key responsibilities include setting objectives, promoting high standards, and implementing quality improvement programs. The ideal candidate has experience in team management and lean manufacturing, along with strong problem-solving skills. This position is onsite and requires the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Fluent English language, both verbal and written.
• Experience in managing a team.
• Experience of working in a continuous improvement / lean manufacturing environment.
• Ability to deal with people at all levels.
• Excellent problem-solving skills including knowledge of 5 WHY, ISHIKAWA.

Responsibilities

• Manage the quality inspection team to ensure objectives are met efficiently.
• Provide leadership and direction for the inspection team.
• Set department objectives/KPIs and assess performance.
• Promote high standards and ensure compliance with inspection functions.
• Plan and implement quality improvement programs.
