Job summary

A leading construction company in the United Kingdom seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to establish best practices and deliver the IQ Assurance plan. The ideal candidate should have strong data analytical skills and a degree or HND level qualification. Responsibilities include undertaking quality audits, reviewing documentation, and promoting compliance with quality standards. • Establish and promote best practice in quality mattersin conjunction with the Quality function.
• Delivery of the IQAssurance plan
• Undertake Quality audits as required.
• Trending and reportingof IQ Quality performance
• Support the “get itright to improve productivity” initiative
• Driving the capture andimplementation of lessons learned
• Ensure that all personnel are aware of their statutoryduties and responsibilities, and to provide advice as and when required.
• Support management teams to ensure compliance with allrequirements stipulated in the Quality Plans
• Promote the reporting of nonconformances.
• Collate Business / Contract Quality statistics in atimely manner and submit to the Quality Management and Quality functionfor reporting purposes.
• Review Quality information to identify trends and areasfor improvement. Develop and implement Quality campaigns andimprovement plans in agreement with the Quality Management
• Provide support to Project teams in the development ofQuality Plans
• Review Quality plans, procedures and associateddocumentation.
• Maintain records as necessary to ensure compliance withCompany procedures and Contract Requirements
• Provide reports, presentations and information asdirected by the Business / Quality Management.
• Participate in working groups / forums as required.
• Provide input into pre-qualification, tender andQuality award submissions.
