Part Time Property Administrator
Samuel & Son, Horam, East Sussex

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our successful friendly team here at Samuel & Son. We are an independent family run Estate and Lettings Agents on Horam High Street established for twenty years. We are looking for an administrator to support our busy sales and lettings team.

Duties to include:
  • Supporting the sales and lettings team on a day to day basis including message taking, diary management, administrative duties, CRM software management and record keeping
  • Undertaking due diligence and KYC checks on customers
  • Meeting callers into the office
  • Liaising with tenants, landlords and contractors
  • Liaising with vendors, buyers and solicitors
  • Responding to maintenance requests for managed property
  • Obtaining quotes, instructing and scheduling works and organising contractors for managed property
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Property experience is not necessarily required although a basic understanding of relevant property legislation, health and safety requirements, and data protection guidelines would be beneficial
  • Previous experience in an office administration role
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle queries with professionalism and empathy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and administrative systems
  • Confidence in problem-solving and decision-making
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills with colleagues and external partners
  • Commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and service excellence

Position: Property Administrator

Location: Horam

Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 13:00 with potential to increase hours.

Contract: Permanent
