Project Manager – Social Housing (Planned Works)

Northampton £350‑£400 per day Pot – Temp to Perm

We’re recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to deliver planned works across occupied social housing in Northampton.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with an immediate start, managing a small site team and overseeing multiple workstreams including kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, windows and doors.

Key Details

• Day rate: £350‑£400 per day
• Temp to perm role
• Office based in Kingsfield, Northampton
• Permanent salary circa £65k (open for the right candidate)

Responsibilities

• Manage planned works programmes in occupied properties
• Lead and manage a site team of 4–6 staff
• Ensure works are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards
• Liaise with residents, subcontractors and internal teams
• Strong focus on health & safety and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in social housing / planned works
• Experience with kitchens, bathrooms, roofing or external works
• Strong people management and communication skills
• Technically competent with a delivery-focused approach
