Job summary

A leading project management consultancy is seeking an HSE Lead for a pharmaceutical client in Northumberland. This onsite role involves overseeing safety matters, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with CDM regulations. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in construction and the pharmaceutical industry, alongside relevant qualifications. The position is a 24-month contract and is expected to start ASAP.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with DBP HSE Lead to control CDM area.
  • Oversee enabling projects and activities.
  • Manage changes and support the client Change Control Team.
  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding emergency responses.
  • Attend regular project meetings.
  • Collect waste management data.

Skills

NEBOSH in Health & Safety

Construction project experience

PM Group is seeking a HSE Lead for a pharmaceutical client in Northumberland.

Location: Northumberland, England, United Kingdom

Scope of Work
  • Working collaboratively with the DBP HSE Lead to ensure CDM area is pro-actively and adequately controlled
  • Oversight of all enabling projects and activities
  • An understanding of the Project schedule
  • Key link with the SHE Team
  • Main POC for the client engineering team for HSE matters
  • Management of change - support the client Change Control Team
  • Liaise with Project and external stakeholders for potential impacts from changes to emergency responses, site security
  • Attend daily/weekly meetings
  • Project monthly/quarterly reports
  • Collate waste management data
  • Notify high risk work in advance
Requirements
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations
  • NEBOSH in Health & Safety, Construction Safety or equivalent
  • Temporary works co-ordinator
  • Significant experience in Construction projects
  • CAPEX experience
  • Previous HSE experience
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience
