Role description

Play a key role delivering tech‑sector mega‑projects and leading the delivery of one of our biggest data centre construction projects in the Nordics. The successful candidate will be based 100% in country or will travel internationally, with an 11/3 rotation.

Role accountabilities

You’ll manage all stages of hyperscale data centre construction projects through pre‑construction, construction, and close‑out/fit‑up.

Pre‑construction
  • Working with the client and general contractor to create and establish the Master Project Schedule and Master Project Budget
  • Supporting contractor pre‑qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations
  • Supporting contract negotiations
  • Assisting the client and the client’s team in identifying, scoping, buying‑out and scheduling of all owner‑direct vendors and consultants
Construction
  • Managing the general contractor and other directly contracted vendors on the ground
  • Coordinating value engineering efforts during the construction phase
  • Working with the client’s commercial and PCG team to develop budget management and tracking
  • Liaising with the client’s schedule management team to provide schedule monitoring, tracking and analysis
Close‑out/Fit‑up
  • Initiating close‑out process two to three months in advance of project completion
  • Establishing close‑out documentation requirements with the client’s document controller, collecting and tracking receipt of all close‑out documents until completion, including warranties, as‑built, O&M manuals, etc.
  • Assisting with city and/or other authority final inspections and occupancy process
  • Assisting the client in scheduling, coordination and management of all owner‑direct vendors and consultants
