Job description
About Cleo

At Cleo, we're not just building another fintech app. We're embarking on a mission to fundamentally change humanity's relationship with money. Imagine a world where everyone, regardless of background or income, has access to a hyper-intelligent financial advisor in their pocket. That's the future we're creating.

About The Role

We’re looking for a Programmatic Marketing Manager to scale Cleo’s programmatic user acquisition strategy across the US and international markets. You’ll own the performance and growth of key programmatic platforms such as Moloco, AppLovin, Liftoff, and other DSPs, optimising spend, creatives, and targeting to drive scalable, high-quality user growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and scale Cleo’s programmatic strategy across DSPs such as Moloco, AppLovin, Liftoff, and other high‑performing partners.
  • Manage day‑to‑day campaign execution, including setup, optimisation, and reporting to deliver against CPA, ROAS, and LTV targets.
  • Continuously test and optimise creatives, audiences, and bidding strategies to improve channel efficiency and unlock new growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Creative and Data teams to build performance‑driven ad assets and feed data back into creative testing loops.
  • Analyse and report on performance across channels, identifying key insights and translating them into actionable recommendations.
  • Explore and onboard new programmatic partners and inventory sources to diversify Cleo’s media mix and reduce acquisition risk.
  • Partner with Data Science and Analytics to refine attribution models, incrementality testing, and in‑app event optimisation.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and privacy changes to ensure Cleo’s strategy remains cutting‑edge.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience managing programmatic user acquisition in a performance‑driven environment (ideally app or fintech).
  • Deep understanding of DSPs such as Moloco, AppLovin, Liftoff, and familiarity with in‑app programmatic buying.
  • Proven track record of scaling spend efficiently while improving CPA, ROAS, and retention metrics.
  • Familiarity with SKAN, incrementality testing, and predictive modelling.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, MMPs (AppsFlyer, Adjust), and data visualisation tools.
  • Ability to build and interpret dashboards, identify trends, and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, comfortable working cross‑functionally with creative, data, and engineering teams.
  • Self‑starter with a growth mindset, curiosity for testing, and bias toward action.
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast‑paced, scaling environment.
  • Passion for Cleo’s mission to help people improve their financial health.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in fintech, subscription‑based products, or other app‑first businesses
