Branch Manager – Edmundson Electrical Ltd, Central Region

Location: Electric Center Hemel Hempstead, Unit 18 Macdonald Business Park, Maylands Avenue, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire HP2 7EB.

The Role

As a Branch Manager, or Profit Centre Manager, you will be a driven and ambitious individual looking for an opportunity to effectively run your own business within our decentralised business model. You will have full autonomy over sales, purchasing, staffing, and logistics, building first‑class relationships with customers, suppliers, and staff to develop profitable sales, and using those relationships to generate Profit Sharing for you and your team. Customer service excellence will be at the forefront of everything you do and you will be the boss in our business model, so you can do whatever is needed to satisfy your customer’s requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Set and maintain exceptional standards of customer service
  • Develop long‑term relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Drive activity to produce profitable sales
  • Actively develop new business opportunities
  • Manage team performance
  • Take care of Health & Safety in your business to keep your team safe and well
  • Understand and manage your own profit and loss sheet, management accounts and sales performance data
  • Act as the boss of your own Profit Centre, setting and delivering the business strategy each year, taking calculated risks, and driving hard work.
Qualifications
  • Drive, determination, enthusiasm, persistence and a great work ethic.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, not afraid to take calculated business risks or try new techniques or product ranges.
  • Experience in electrical wholesaling: 2 years (required).
  • Driving licence (required).
  • Willingness to travel 50% (preferred).
