Job Vacancy: Production Operative, National Timber Systems, Newcastle

National Timber Systems, part of Premier Forest Products Group, based at Riverside Sawmills, Wagonway Road, Hebburn, NE31 1SP, is looking to recruit a number of Production Operatives.

The successful candidates will be enthusiastic and reliable individuals with the ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate a proactive attitude. Previous experience in fabrication is preferred, but not essential.

What you will be doing …
  • Assisting in the assembly of timber components in line with order requirements.
  • Carrying out tasks in accordance with strict health and safety guidelines.
  • Using woodworking tools and equipment (following appropriate training).
  • Moving stock and finished products using FLT (counterbalance and sideloader experience desirable)
  • Completing basic standard paperwork accurately.
  • Working to agreed production schedules.
  • Ensuring effective stock rotation.
  • Following Company policies and procedures at all times.
