A prominent broadcasting organization in York is offering a full-time Production Apprenticeship. This 13-month apprenticeship provides hands-on experience in radio production while working towards a Level 3 qualification. BBC Introducing is a network of creatives, producers, presenters, and music enthusiasts dedicated to discovering and supporting emerging musical talent across the UK. It provides a platform for new artists to showcase their work, starting with local radio shows and potentially progressing to national stations.
As a Production Apprentice, you will:
You’ll learn both on and off the job. In addition to placement experience, you will attend learning blocks with our learning provider, working toward an industry‑recognised Level 3 Production Assistant qualification. Learning blocks are a mixture of in‑person and virtual delivery.

To be eligible for a BBC apprenticeship you must:
For candidates under 19 years old at the start date: you must have achieved Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4/C or above or the Scottish equivalent. If not, you will need to achieve Functional Skills Level 2 before the end of your apprenticeship.
