Job Title: Production and Waste Control Coordinator

Contract: 6-Month Temporary Role

Hours: 4 days per week, 6 hours per day (09:00–15:00, flexible where needed)

Location: Ambrosia, Lifton

Salary: £16,715.52

We’re looking for a Yield Improvement Coordinator to support the Ambrosia team in improving production performance and efficiency. This 6-month temporary role will focus on reducing waste, improving yield, and supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify mass balance data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Lead and facilitate wastage meetings with production teams, highlighting key issues and driving actions to improve yield.
• Work directly on the production line with the operations team to optimise running conditions and enhance performance and yield.
• Collect, track, and analyse data to identify trends, losses, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with production and technical teams to develop and implement corrective actions.
• Apply Continuous Improvement tools and techniques (such as root cause analysis, PDCA, and 5 Whys) to deliver sustainable improvements.
• Provide regular updates and reports on progress and key findings.
• Help build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across production areas.

About You

• Experience in a food manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident working with data to identify and communicate opportunities.
• Hands‑on and proactive, comfortable working alongside operations teams.
• Good communicator who can engage and motivate others.
• Familiarity with Continuous Improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel or other data analysis tools.
