The Opportunity

Join Arup’s Global Procurement team as we transform how we operate worldwide. We’re simplifying processes, driving automation, and embedding sustainability at the heart of everything we do. In this newly created Procurement Manager role, you’ll report into the Global Category Manager to drive procurement projects across professional and business services delivering strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contracting excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing projects, leading supplier evaluations and negotiations.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors, becoming a trusted business partner.
  • Conduct contract reviews, due diligence, and risk mitigation (e.g., GDPR, data security).
  • Embed sustainability and ESG principles into procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and other teams to ensure efficient execution of agreements.
  • Support global procurement initiatives and maintain accurate reporting.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in professional services procurement, ideally in a multi-regional matrix environment.
  • Strong knowledge of contract negotiation, supplier management, and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Degree and/or professional qualification (e.g., MCIPS) desirable.
