Qualifications

  • Proven experience in programming, setting and operating Trumpf press brakes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is essential.
  • Must be able to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Reading, interpreting and understanding engineering drawings.
  • Recording all job bookings accurately.
  • Completing operations within allocated time.
  • Improving processes where possible.
  • Visually inspecting components to meet requirements.
  • Undertaking first-off inspections when required.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards.

Mon to Thurs 7am 3:45pm and Friday 7am 11:30am

Pay

£14.50ph + £25pw Attendance allowance

Knowledge, Skills, Experience
  • Proven experience in programming, setting and operating Trumpf press brakes
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings essential
  • Ability to work on own initiative essential
  • Able to set and maintain a high standard of workmanship essential
  • Sheet metal working background preferred
Responsibilities
  • To read, interpret and understand engineering drawings
  • Ensure all job bookings accurately recorded
  • Completing operations within allocated time
  • Improve the processes where possible
  • Visually inspect the components to ensure that it meets the requirements
  • To undertake first off inspections where required
  • To ensure compliance to Health and safety standards as directed by the Company
  • Any other duties that may fit into the remit of this role as and when required
