Job summary

A family-run Preschool in Colchester is seeking a Preschool Assistant to provide a nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate is Level 2/3 qualified, has experience in early years education, and is passionate about helping children learn and grow. Responsibilities include planning activities, maintaining good relationships with parents, and keeping records through Tapestry. Competitive pay starting at £12.50 per hour, flexible hours available. We are a family run Preschool, with a small team of practitioners. We are open 8-5:30 Monday-Friday term time. Hours would be within these.

We enjoy exploring our local area with visits to the museums, allotments and to feed the ducks.

Qualifications
  • Level 2/3 qualified practitioner with experience of working in a setting.
  • Knowledge of EYFS essential.
  • Safeguarding knowledge – training will be provided.
