We’re hiring for a PMI Account Manager to support our growing Employee Benefits team!
To keep up with our growth in the UK and Ireland, we’re looking for a dedicated PMI Account Manager to join our dynamic Employee Benefits team. Putting people first is at the heart of everything we do, and that extends to our clients as well as our employees. As one of our PMI Account Managers, you will be responsible for looking after a portfolio of clients, providing administrative support and taking ownership of all areas of client service delivery, working to provide outstanding customer service.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience in an account manager role
- Experience with both SME and individual PMI
- Strong communication skills
- An ability to work independently and as part of a Team
Using these skills, you’ll be:
- Liaising with medical insurers, administrators, healthcare providers and underwriting teams to gather, analyse and validate PMI scheme information
- Conducting detailed client research including claims experience, medical underwriting positions, benefit structures, excesses, networks and provider terms.
- Acting as the day-to-day contact for PMI clients, responding promptly to enquiries relating to benefit design, eligibility, claims escalation, underwriting, renewals and mid-term changes
- Managing annual renewal cycles, including re-enrolment, underwriting changes and premium adjustments in line with SLAS
- Supporting onboarding new PMI clients, ensuring benefit structures align with employee needs and budget
- Producing and coordinating all market review reports, insurer comparisons, underwriting summaries, provider engagement records and Summary of Benefits within agreed timescales
- Working closely with Consultants to ensure clients receive proactive, accurate and commercially strong advice at every stage of their PMI lifecycle
- Attending client meetings, insurer calls and renewal presentations where appropriate
- Producing detailed PMI policy summaries, renewal reports, claims analysis, benefit benchmarking and portfolio valuations for client review meetings.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance PMI schemes through benefit redesign, insurer switches, underwriting reviews or the addition of complementary benefits (cash plans, EAPs, GP services, dental, wellbeing)
- Capturing and passing market intelligence to Consultants to grow the client portfolio
- Ensuring all PMI activity is compliant with FCA regulation, Treating Customers Fairly principles, data protection and financial crime policies
