Job description
Platform Lead – WH and INV

Role overview: To provide development support to our WH and INV ERP applications, and in addition support deployment of ERP projects while focusing on WH and INV within the ERP Stream. Take responsibility for driving system change in line with the agreed processes and procedures driving efficiency and business benefits. To ensure service standards are maintained across the team while ensuring strong cross‑department communications while pushing continuous improvement.

Objectives and Responsibilities
  • Leading and maintaining the WH and INV suite of applications ensuring integrity with other applications and related documentation. In particular E1 9.2 Warehouse Management.
  • Taking responsibility for the WH and INV ERP platform including development delivery in line with the platform strategy.
  • Reviewing change requests submitted for pre‑approval and guiding implementation or support teams as needed.
  • Supporting the design process of ERP by offering effective and timely communication around technical design topics.
  • Supporting 3rd‑party applications (part of ERP Model) and communicating with vendors for yearly renewals, subscriptions, updates, and enhancements.
  • Adding value through continuous improvements by creating roadmaps of enhancements, developing process automation, and reducing customisation.
  • Becoming a member of external communities, attending conferences covering the area of functional responsibility.
  • Collaborating with other stakeholders such as support teams, implementation teams, 3rd‑party vendors, and business SMEs.
Previous Experience
  • E1 9.2 Warehouse Management.
  • Strong system application management design, development, and deployment experience.
  • Experience developing integration solutions across on‑premise and cloud‑based systems.
  • Experience in end‑to‑end business processes allowing process challenges to be conducted.
  • Experience in the full software development life cycle: requirements, analysis, specification, development, testing, and release.
  • A broad knowledge and understanding of master data management and the importance of driving DQM.
  • Worked with on‑site or near‑shore delivery teams.
  • Proven delivery experience in Waterfall and semi‑Agile environments.
