What you will be doing:
  • Carry out planned maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment across wastewater treatment sites
  • Work on pumps, gearboxes, and specialist process machinery. Undertake large plant repairs and fabrication tasks
  • Apply first‑level maintenance and develop new skills, including electrical disconnections and working in explosive atmospheres
  • Collaborate with other disciplines in a mobile team
  • Ensure safety at all times, including confined space and working‑at‑height protocols
  • Participate in standby/call‑out rota
What we are looking for:
  • A completed Apprenticeship in a relevant technical discipline
  • A full understanding of related RAMS to deliver an effective and safe maintenance regime
  • Experience of working with Waste Water treatment processes would be desirable
  • Ability to fault find and repair large complex pieces of mechanical equipment
  • A full UK driving licence is required
  • CompEx 11
  • Welding or Fabrication experience
