CCD Studios is an award-winning digital agency, based in the suburbs of West London. Due to our continued growth and success, we’re recruiting for a backend Junior PHP Developer to work on our(Sitepad Software) to join us, either remotely or in our spacious canal-side studio.

The Role

In this role, you will have the chance to work with our development team, working collaboratively on digital solutions and bespoke software solutions.

Qualifications:

• Industry experience as a Junior PHP developer
• PHP 8 (has at least worked with PHP 7)
• MySQL
• HTML / CSS (good knowledge of Sass would be a plus)
• Can write high-quality, readable code efficiently
• Is experienced in working with external APIs
• Has experience working with version control, preferably git
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the backend of our web applications using PHP.
• Integrate external APIs to enhance the functionality of our applications.
• Collaborate with the frontend development team to ensure smooth integration between the frontend and backend.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues and bugs.
• Optimise application performance and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
