Overview

Pharmacist position based in Birkenhead. Part time (28 hours per week), permanent, with a shift pattern of days. Salary is competitive and benefits available.

Our pharmacies offer a range of frontline NHS services, including emergency prescriptions and Urgent Care. You will need to provide both NHS and Private services, with excellent communication skills and empathy. Safety, strong leadership, and the ability to work as part of a team to bring out the best in others will be key for this role.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medicines and deliver services in line with GPhC guidelines and company SOPs
• Manage and support the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Contribute to contractual and enhanced services and follow the organisation’s standards
• Report to the Pharmacy Practice Manager to support delivery of agreed KRAs and continuous improvement
• Engage with in-store, regional, and home office teams for clinical and service-based support
• Aim to deliver outstanding service to all patients and seek accreditations for additional services funded by Asda

• Week 1: Saturday 09:00-21:00, Monday 13:00-21:00, Tuesday 16:30-21:00, Wednesday 09:00-13:00, Thursday 09:00-13:00
• Week 2: Monday 13:00-21:00, Tuesday 16:30-21:00, Wednesday 09:00-13:00, Thursday 09:00-13:00
• Week 3: Saturday 09:00-21:00, Monday 13:00-21:00, Tuesday 16:30-21:00, Wednesday 09:00-13:00, Thursday 09:00-13:00

You’ll Be

• A fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC
• Able to deliver national and local NHS and private services
• Capable of providing excellent customer and patient care
• Driven to help the pharmacy meet business targets
• Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
