Job description

A rare opportunity to join the thriving Private Client Tax team of a respected accountancy practice.

You’ll play a key role in delivering personal tax advisory services to a HNW client base of new money entrepreneurs, business owners, families and landed wealth. You’ll also mentor a team of advisers, developing their skills and ensuring high quality client service levels.

This is a high profile, client relationship management role, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills. An in-depth knowledge of UK income tax, CGT and IHT as it applies to HNW private clients and their families is important. The CTA qualification is a pre‑requisite.

You’ll get involved with a broad range of private client tax work including succession planning, the use of trusts and family investment companies, advice regarding residence and the new FIG regime.

As one of the key members of the Private Client Tax team, you’ll also work alongside Partners on related business development and networking initiatives, enabling you to build a name across the region.

Based in Swindon (or potentially Bath), the role offers hybrid working 2-3 days a week. The position would suit an existing Director seeking a new challenge in a friendly, sociable and supportive environment. Alternatively, the team would consider a good Senior Manager ready to step up to Director grade.

Salary will be dependent on experience but is likely to be in the region £85k-£100k + benefits.
