We’re looking for a Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to our Employment Law department. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment, where you’ll play a key role in helping the team deliver exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive PA and administrative support to the Employment Law team, managing priorities and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organised client and department records using iManage, Aderant, and other firm systems.
  • Coordinate diaries, meetings, and travel arrangements, ensuring schedules are well managed and deadlines met.
  • Prepare, proofread, and format correspondence, reports, and legal documents to a high professional standard.
  • Handle incoming emails, post, and calls, ensuring matters are dealt with promptly and professionally.
  • Support compliance processes, including client onboarding, conflict checks, and document verification.
  • Assist with billing processes and expense management, preparing billing guides and reviewing invoices for accuracy.
  • Liaise with clients and external contacts with professionalism and discretion, providing updates and assistance as required.
  • Coordinate team meetings, book meeting rooms, and arrange refreshments or materials where necessary.
  • Provide general administrative and project support to fee earners and senior team members.
Skills & Competence
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and legal systems such as iManage and Aderant (training provided if required).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Proven experience providing high-level administrative or PA support, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Professional, discreet, and trustworthy, with a strong sense of confidentiality.
  • Positive and proactive approach, able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to assist with occasional non-routine or urgent tasks.
