Qualifications

• Lived experience of Perinatal Mental Health challenges as a partner.
• Experience in a supportive role.
• Team or group work experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-to-one wellbeing conversations with partners.
• Develop relationships with local support organizations.
• Advocate for the role of partners in the Perinatal period.

Skills

Excellent written communication skills

Excellent verbal communication skills

Understanding of recovery

Ability to share personal recovery story

Education

NVQ 3 / AS Level or equivalent

Completion of Accredited Peer Support Worker Training

Related Health or Social Care qualification
