Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in financial management within the charity or not-for-profit sector.
• Good understanding of charity finance regulations, including SORP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the charity finance function and periodic reporting.
• Responsible for financial controls and authorisation of transactions.
• Prepare annual financial statements and liaise with auditors.

Skills

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Demonstrable experience in financial management

Excellent skills in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting

Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
