We’re Hiring – Optical Assistant (Full Time) 👓

We’re looking for an experienced Optical Assistant to join our independent practice, replacing a long-standing member of the team who is moving on.

This is a full-time role (5 days per week) with 2 days supporting eye examinations and the remainder split between dispensing, reception, and patient care.

What the role involves:

• Dispensing frames and lenses with confidence
• Pre-screening patients and supporting clinics (2 days per week)
• Booking appointments, handling enquiries, and general practice support
• Providing friendly, professional care in a busy independent practice

Who we’re looking for:

• Previous experience as an Optical Assistant
• Comfortable with pre-screening and working closely with an optometrist
• Reliable, organised, and good with patients
• Someone who values quality service over sales targets
