An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual with excellent IT and digital content creation skills to join the Digital Transformation Team as an Online Content Officer within the Adults, Housing and Communities service.

About the job

The postholder will support the development and maintenance of digital content across a variety of platforms, with particular focus on the Housing Services customer facing websites alongside other digital platforms including the Webchat and Housing Apps.

The postholder will liaise with Housing Teams to ensure a consistently high level of customer experience and will ensure content meets business needs to provide accurate, clear and bespoke responses across a variety of digital channels.

The postholder will provide support in the coordination of major content updates across existing, new and emerging Housing digital channels.

The postholder will be responsible for collating statistics to share with managers and teams across the directorate.

What We Are Looking For From You

The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of new and emerging digital platforms.

You will have the ability to develop content for Social Media platforms, websites, apps and webchats in line with web accessibility guidelines and Welsh language standards.

Excellent communication and organisational skills are vital for this role. You will have the ability to liaise effectively with teams and managers across the directorate.

You should have a desire to work in a fast-paced team environment and work collaboratively with colleagues.

You will have the ability to manage your time effectively across a number of digital projects.

You must understand the value of developing inclusive customer centred online content.

The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, and Community Languages would be an advantage.

Additional information

The post will be hybrid working, you will be required to work from a number of different locations including County Hall and other community hub buildings.
