You will manage the safe transit and access to offshore installations, coordinating vessel and helicopter movements as per defined protocols. Job description

Join us in this role where you’ll enable safe transit and access to offshore installations to perform operations and maintenance working in our Control Room in Grimsby. You’ll be responsible for executing vessel and helicopter movements outlined in the plans and schedules delivered by planning and scheduling functions. You’ll also focus on vessel and people tracking and cover Operational Control under our safe system of work. Offshore Coordinators work on a shift pattern of 7 days on shift followed by 7 days off covering both day and night shifts on a rotating basis.

You’ll play an important role in:

• coordinating emergency responses, responding to radio communications, and escalating to local emergency response team lead or country level emergency response, as appropriate
• being responsible for vessel or helicopter traffic control as per agreed coordination protocols
• managing people, vessel, and communications tracking through communications log or automatic*** ***people or vessel tracking system
• acting as operational controller under the wind turbine safety rules
• operating the offshore management system ensuring all offshore personnel have the correct certification and the creation of pax lists if required by site or regional management.
