Job Summary

Salisbury Therapy Services are looking for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to support new and existing patient pathways within this medium‑sized, friendly NHS Trust. Immediate vacancies are available within the Band 5 rotation, with opportunities across core rotations and regional centres such as the Spinal Rehabilitation Centre and Burns & Plastics. The role supports core skill development in assessment, treatment and management of a diverse caseload, with the freedom to act within broad occupational policies and accountability for your own actions. You will monitor and support Therapy Assistants and contribute to the improvement of therapy services.

Professional Development

Access to supervision, mentorship, internal leadership training and encouragement to contribute to service development and staff training. Early applications are welcomed and may lead to an interview before the closing date if appropriate.

Requirements

You will be HCPC registered, holding a BSc, Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Therapy. Experience in the NHS (including clinical placements) is necessary and experience working with a variety of conditions is an advantage. Undergraduate candidates qualifying in the summer will be considered in an assistant role pending HCPC registration.
