Overview

Our Daydream Day Nursery in Woking, part of Grandir UK, is looking for an Early Years Practitioner with a Level 2 qualification. You’ll be working hard to care for, support, share a story or two, and meet the needs of our children.

Responsibilities
  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
  • Support and supervise playroom staff with their day‑to‑day duties
  • Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery key‑carer procedures and allocate children to key‑carers appropriately
  • Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
  • Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
  • Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
  • Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
