A regional housing association is seeking a Non-Executive Board Member to provide governance oversight and support strategic growth initiatives. This position offers a hybrid working model with a compensation of £6,000 per annum.

Non-Executive Board Member – Growth and Development

As a member of Hilldale’s Board and Customer Committee, you will perform key roles within Hilldale’s governance arrangements.
As a Board member your role is to ensure that Hilldale is managed efficiently, effectively and in accordance with the requirements and standards of the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) and act within the powers set out within our constitution.
You will work alongside other Board Members and Officers to shape and monitor our strategic direction, policies, risk, financial management and resident involvement activities to ensure we achieve our business strategic objectives. You will exercise independent judgement, care, skill and diligence.
You will specifically, use your experience, knowledge and skills, to oversee Hilldale’s approach to Growth and Development, supporting Hilldale’s ambitions for diverse growth whilst supporting to mitigate the associated risks.
You will promote the success of Hilldale for the benefit of our tenants and stakeholders.
As a member of the Customer Committee, you will hold Officers to account on the Consumer Standards, ensuring that all the outcomes are met. You will and partake in discussions which uses tenant insight to make decisions in their best interest.

Hybrid - Mainly via teams with some in-person meetings at our Salford Officer £6,000 Per Annum
