Qualifications

  • Ideally have an NVQ2 in Adult Health and Social Care.
  • Must be permitted to work 33 hours per week.
  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience in Care although this is not essential.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and empathy skills.
  • A genuine passion for elderly care and team development.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence care.
  • Help with mobility and transfers.
  • Offer companionship and a friendly presence.
  • Support mental and emotional well-being.
  • Observe and report changes in a client’s physical or emotional condition.
