The successful candidate will drive discovery and preclinical development of RNA-based therapies for neurological disorders.

You will play a key role in early drug discovery through target identification, designing experiments, developing disease models, and optimizing ASO delivery to the central nervous system (CNS) for neurological diseases. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to our mission of creating transformative treatments for patients with unmet medical needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, execute, and interpret studies evaluating antisense oligonucleotides in neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental disease models.
  • Develop and characterize in vitro and in vivo CNS models for target validation and efficacy testing.
  • In collaboration with MedChem and Biology departments, optimize delivery routes for ASOs to the CNS, including intrathecal, intracerebroventricular, and systemic delivery.
  • Collaborate across teams in biology and pharmacology to integrate findings and guide project direction.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and present data in internal and external meetings.
  • Stay current with emerging advancements in RNA therapeutics, CNS biology, and drug delivery technologies.
Qualifications
