We are currently seeking to appoint a part‑time (36 hours per week) Support Worker to join our Neonatal team. This post will be suitable for anyone with an interest in working within a healthcare setting whose aim would be to assist in the smooth running of a busy Neonatal Unit by supporting qualified staff in their day‑to‑day duties.

The responsibilities of the job will be interesting, varied and challenging and will be diverse in content but mainly consisting of housekeeping. You will be expected to communicate with members of the Neonatal team, families and extended multidisciplinary team.
The Neonatal Unit offers a 24‑hour service. You will be required to work on a Monday‑Sunday rota to ensure service needs are met.

To provide excellent standards of cleanliness whilst working to schedules relevant to allocated areas. Clean medical device equipment as directed, and set up ready for use. Ensure the clinical areas within the Department are well stocked. Monitor stores and order replacements as required. Responsible for carrying‑out tasks as delegated by the NICU Nurse‑in‑Charge and Unit Manager.
