Job description

* To maintain a safe a competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and other traffic signs and giving due regard to other road users.* To have a daily check to ensure that your vehicle is in a roadworthy condition including a check of the lights, brakes, coolant, etc.* To report any faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays.* To maintain the internal and external condition of the vehicle together with the cleanliness of the vehicle.* To ensure sufficient quantities of fuel have been taken for the day's work.* To maintain the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times.* To check all orders shown on the drop sheets and ensure all orders are loaded on the vehicle.* To collect goods returned for credit, mail, delivery bins and their safe return to the branch at times instructed by the branch management.* Ensure damages/breakages are dealt with promptly and correctly with due regard to special procedures for HazChems.* To always maintain a smart appearance.* To help maintain good customer relations.* To be involved in other duties including warehouse tasks as defined by the Management.* Meet all Health & Safety requirements.* A full driving license must be held relevant to the vehicle being driven* Whilst we do not ask for a clean license, we will assess the risk of employing applicants who have points on their license, and this may affect our decision to shortlist* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Excellent Customer care* Intermediate Numeracy and Literacy* Previous experience of multi-drop delivery driving is highly desirable* Route planning experienceCencora is a leading global pharmaceutical solutions company that is committed to improving the lives of people and animals everywhere.
