Job summary

A leading UK cleaning services firm is seeking a Training Manager to design, plan, and deliver training for a new cleaning contract. This role ensures all staff receive the necessary skills and compliance training. Essential qualifications include experience in cleaning training and a solid understanding of health and safety regulations. The position is a fixed-term temporary contract for 6 months, located in Dartford, with a salary of £40,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Experience working in cleaning, facilities management, or soft services.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH, and statutory requirements.
• Ability to adapt to changing mobilisation timelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver training programmes for staff.
• Conduct site-based training sessions.
• Ensure compliance modules are delivered to all staff.
• Create training schedules and staffing plans.
• Evaluate staff competency before contract launch.

Skills

Experience delivering training within cleaning

Strong understanding of commercial cleaning processes

Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH

Excellent communication and coaching skills

Organisational and planning capabilities

Experience with short project timelines

Education

Accredited training qualification (e.g., Level 3 Trainer/Assessor)
