A local educational institution in Newport is looking for Midday Supervisors to join their team. The role involves greeting children, supervising their dining experience, and ensuring a positive environment during lunchtime. Candidates should possess strong communication and supervisory skills. Glan Llyn Primary School is an English‑medium, community‑maintained school providing education for children aged between 3 years and 11 years. It supports the growing Glan Llyn housing development within the Lliswerry cluster of primary schools and has two dedicated learning resource base classes to support pupils with additional learning needs. The school has been growing steadily over the last six years and is projected to be full in September 2025 with 488 pupils on roll.
The Headteacher and Governing Body are committed to establishing a community school with a strong, inclusive ethos, where a culture of positivity, motivation and aspiration prevails and where excellence is standard.
We require Midday Supervisors to work for 1 hour 30 minutes a day, Monday – Friday, term‑time only (38 weeks per year). Hours will be 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm.
