Mechanical Engineer – Aerospace (Jigs and Tools)

We’re seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of advanced robotic and automation systems within the aerospace sector. This role offers hands‑on involvement across concept creation, prototyping, and detailed mechanical design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop 3D models for robotics and automation concepts using CATIA / 3DX.
  • Conduct reachability and feasibility analyses.
  • Support Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities.
  • Design and prepare rapid prototypes for trades and de‑risking.
  • Produce 3D and 2D drawings for prototype fabrication.
  • Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Deliver detailed mechanical designs for platforms, end effectors, and support equipment.
Qualifications
  • Proven aerospace industry experience.
  • Proficient in CATIA and 3DX.
  • 2‑4 years’ experience in mechanical design engineering.
  • Knowledge of jigs and tools.
Desirable
  • Experience supporting MBSE or systems‑led design.
  • Exposure to rapid prototyping and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
