Base pay range

The Master Technician is a highly skilled and certified professional responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards. This role requires deep technical knowledge, leadership ability, and proficiency with the latest diagnostic tools and repair techniques. The Master Technician may also mentor junior technicians and ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on all vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, HVAC, suspension, and brakes.
  • Utilize OEM diagnostic tools and technical manuals to accurately identify vehicle issues.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and routine maintenance with precision and attention to detail.
  • Stay current with the latest automotive technology, software updates, and manufacturer training.
  • Mentor and train lower-level technicians; provide guidance and support on difficult repairs.
  • Document all work performed clearly and accurately, including parts used and time spent.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with H&S and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers when necessary to explain technical issues and repair solutions.
  • Ensure repairs and maintenance are performed to manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
