Job Title: Senior Digital Marketing Executive

Site Location: Hybrid, but must be able to travel to Wrexham, Telford, Tamworth and Scunthorpe

Reports To: Head of Digital Marketing

Job Purpose:

To understand outdoor living products as a category in the UK, including competition, market trends and identify marketing opportunities for Epwin. To deliver the already defined strategic digital marketing plan for Epwin’s outdoor living brands as a driver for sales growth.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop a broad knowledge of the outdoor living market in the UK and understand where Epwin sit within that currently and identify with support of the wider team, the best opportunities for growth.
  • Fully understand the digital objectives of the outdoor living brands and deliver through tactical day to day activities covering paid search and socials, SEO, content creation and campaign delivery.
  • Daily management of external agencies to ensure objectives are being met within agreed budgets.
Key Experiences and Skills Required
  • Several years’ experience in a marketing position preferably in building products manufacturing or trade distribution and must have proven B2B experience. B2Specifier and B2C experience would be advantageous
  • Experienced all round marketer with a solid understanding of digital marketing including paid search, SEO and supportive content, email marketing and organic and paid social media
  • Experienced in customer centric marketing – creating personas and journey mapping leading to inbound and outbound campaigns
  • Experienced in using CRM and creating workflows (ideally Salesforce and / or HubSpot) to drive automated campaigns and lead management
  • Brand management and positioning experience – a brand ambassador
  • Proficient in interpreting data / campaign analysis to ensure activities are results driven
  • Experience in planning and managing budgets effectively and delivering strong ROAS with paid media
  • Understand the importance of competitor analysis and bench marking
  • Experience within a business that used ecommerce as part of the sales mix would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills – ability to build relationships both internally and externally
  • Experienced in managing and working efficiently with external stakeholders such as suppliers and marketing agencies
  • Must be disciplined and organised with good project management skills and effective planning, capable of working to tight deadlines and manage others to do the same
  • A desire to keep up with industry and marketing developments ensuring knowledge is current
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as being a self-starter who can independently work
  • Must demonstrate resilience and enthusiasm to get projects completed
Desirables Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required
  • Degree educated in marketing related discipline or marketing qualification
  • 3 + years’ experience within marketing roles with decision making responsibility
  • CRM experience (Salesforce and HubSpot ideally)
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong influencer
  • Have a mix of creativity and analytical skills
  • Able to present to teams of differing sizes
  • Full UK driving licence
