A leading manufacturing firm in Stevenage is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join their team. You'll operate semi-automated machines and ensure product quality while contributing to process optimisation. Manufacturing Technician – Tsantes Consulting Group

My client, a leading manufacturing plant based in Stevenage, is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join their team as a permanent member of staff with immediate starts available.

Position: Full Time, Permanent.

Hours: 42 hours per week on average, 4 on/4 off basis (2 days, 2 night shifts followed by 4 days off), 12‑hour shifts.

Location

Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate semi‑automated machines safely and efficiently.
  • Deliver product quality through all systems available and others.
  • Contribute to the optimisation of a production plan, operating the production plant in the most efficient and cost‑effective manner.
  • Identify and apply training needs for yourself and your team; participate in proactive learning through documentation (learning logs & 1:1 communications).
  • Continuously challenge and improve manufacturing processes and encourage others to do the same.
  • Actively participate and contribute to the optimisation of cross‑functional working processes and procedures, maintaining or improving infrastructure standards.
  • Demonstrate a flexible and can‑do approach to work; may be required to support other areas of the business and develop broader skill base.
