Job summary

A dynamic manufacturing firm in Bridgwater is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to enhance process efficiency and product quality. This role will involve process design and optimisation, technical support, quality assurance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. Applicants should have a degree in manufacturing/process engineering, with at least three years of production experience and proficiency in lean manufacturing methods. Qualifications

  • At least three years varied production experience including time in an SME.
  • Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.
  • Practical skills and hands-on experience using tools.

Responsibilities

  • Design, document and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide technical support to production staff to resolve process issues.
  • Collaborate with quality teams to address concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Support transition of new products from design to production.
  • Drive Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives.
