Job summary

A global sports and entertainment agency is seeking a Manager, Ticketing to plan and execute guest engagement strategies for major sporting events. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational and communication skills, and have experience managing client relationships. This role will require you to adapt to various ticketing platforms and work under tight deadlines. This is a fixed-term contract until the end of August 2026.

Qualifications

  • Agency experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience working on large global consumer brands is preferred.
  • Knowledge of and passion for both sport and music & entertainment is a bonus.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Guest Engagement Planning – specifically for planning guest engagement programmes at major sporting events. You will devise and deliver heavily detailed guest engagement strategies including flights, transfers, accommodation and ticketing needs. You will be able to draw on your industry experience to recommend and implement efficient and reliable solutions.
  • Implementation – you will be central to bringing the plans to life, managing dedicated areas of the account. You will have an instrumental role working as part of an All Agency team and managing rights holders, from providing briefs, guest engagement execution and guidance through rights holder approvals and delivery.
  • Evaluation & Review – you will be familiar with KPI setting and delivery against them, leading in the collation of results and creation of evaluation documents.
  • Self & Team Management – you will build the respect and commitment of team members by developing a collaborative working relationship, delegating effectively and fairly.
Client / Account Management
  • Development and management of own relationship with the client, and day‑to‑day client management.
  • Lead the relationships and management of markets, all agencies, partners and programme guests.
  • Effective management of regular project and status meetings with clients (and markets where relevant), including consolidation of notes and actions.
  • Support in the campaign strategy and project planning (with Account lead).
  • Lead all market communication, global toolkits, guest engagement planning.
  • Development and management of project timelines, budgets, invoicing/cost management, PO’s.
  • KPI setting and campaign evaluation.
  • Approvals process and management.
The Skills and Experience You Need
  • Agency experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to adapt to multiple ticketing platforms across client portfolios.
  • Highly organized while with proven attention to detail.
  • Experience working on large global consumer brands is preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to influence decision‑making processes, both within the Agency and the client organisation.
  • Ability to multi‑task; you will be working across a number of activities with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to think on your feet and take appropriate actions to resolve any unforeseen issues as they arise.
  • Ability to enthuse and motivate others.
  • Presentation skills (both writing and delivery), internally and to clients / suppliers including use of Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written – and attention to detail.
  • Creative thinking.
  • Knowledge of, and passion for, both sport and music & entertainment is a bonus.
