What you’ll be doing

• Performing maintenance on CNC and manual machinery used in steelwork fabrication.
• Supporting operations through general maintenance tasks across the plant.
• Collaborating with team members to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
• Working under both electrical and mechanical permit systems, following approved safe systems of work.
• Responding to breakdowns and carrying out proactive maintenance as directed by Team Leads and the Fabrication Manager.
• Conducting weekly legionella testing audits.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to risk assessments and work instructions.
• Carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance on boiler systems.
• Championing our Zero Harm safety culture in everything you do.

Who we’re looking for

We’re seeking a proactive and safety‑conscious individual with a strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background. Experience with CNC machinery and a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement are essential.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in use on CNC milling to be able to make tooling for production use.
• Experience in the operation of overhead cranes and plant.
• Experience in forklift truck and telehandler operations.
• NVQ level 3 in electrical system and equipment.
• NVQ level 3 in mechanical maintenance and installation.
• 18th edition wiring regulations.
• ESSW and MSSW awareness training.
• PAT qualification.
• Asbestos awareness and fire marshall training.
• First aid at work certification.
