I am currently working with a very good manufacturing client based in Telford. They produce precision engineered components for customers world‑wide. At present they are looking to add to their team and wish to recruit a proven hands‑on machine shop supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day machining activities, from programming from scratch to setting and operating CNC machines.
• Predominantly turning oriented with some milling.
• Managing two other CNC machinists.
• Controlling jobs from start to finish, through inspection and into packaging.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven CNC machining skills with supervisory experience.
• Ability to produce quotations.
• Positive attitude and knowledge of improving efficiency.
• Knowledge of Mazak machines, Mazatrol, Fanuc controls beneficial.
• Supporting qualification (e.g., Apprentice trained) would also be good.
• Must be living in the United Kingdom with full leave to remain; sponsorship is not available.
