Location: Tobermore Concrete Products Ltd, 2 Lisnamuck Road, Tobermore

What's in it for you?
  • Minimum of £600 per week / £31,200 per year (calculation based on £12.50 per hour and weekly bonus - based on 44 hours per week)
  • Basic Rates of pay can increase with skills and competencies
    • Rate of pay will increase to £12.75 after 6 months.
  • Annual bonus of up to £1,000 paid out twice per year
  • £500 joining bonus payable after successful probation

Shift details: 44 hours per week, 4 days per week (6am - 6pm). Could be any 4 days Monday - Friday.

Induction Week: Your first week will be on days Mon - Fri 9am to 5pm approx.

This role will provide you with exciting challenges and opportunities within Manufacturing. You will provide excellent support to the Production Team.

What You'll Be Doing

HESS Plants Machine Operators will be required to set up the machine using computer panels to produce world class paving products in a safe and efficient manner. Within the role you will be required to understand mix designs and run times, successfully carrying out mould changes and also quality inspections. You will receive on the job training. You can expect to get real life, hands on experience and learn as you go. You will be supported and mentored through work participation and receive an individual training and induction programme.

About The Role

All roles will include the following key responsibilities:

  • Set up Hess machine to manufacture world class products in a safe efficient manner.
  • Understand mix designs and run times.
  • Be able to carry out mould changes successfully and efficiently.
  • Carry out quality checks and record data.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues.
  • Problem solving in terms of maintenance / quality issues.
  • Setup the machine to make the products as per the production plan.
  • Setup the machine by using computer panels to get the right product mix and design.

  • Production related administration experience such as check sheets/ computer or iPad
  • Full and clean driving licence
