Isio - Talent Acquisition Lead

A strategic and hands‑on HR role responsible for leading the full people workstream across the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) lifecycle. Provides expert guidance on employment risks, organisational change, and TUPE, while also delivering practical, on‑the‑ground HR support.

This role can be based in our Belfast, Edinburgh or Glasgow office with a hybrid workstyle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end HR support for mergers, acquisitions, divestments, and restructures, from due diligence through to post‑close integration.
  • Conduct detailed HR due diligence, assess people‑related risks, and develop pragmatic mitigation and integration plans.
  • Provide expert advice on employment law implications, with strong understanding of when TUPE does and does not apply.
  • Deliver both strategic planning and hands‑on execution of HR integration, change management, and communication activities.
  • Partner with senior leadership, Risk, Finance, IT and project teams to ensure a smooth transition and alignment to business objectives.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with employment legislation, internal policies, and consultation requirements.
  • Support employee engagement, consultation processes, and operational HR activities throughout organisational change.
  • Manage and/or Escalate employee relations issues arising from M&A activity, taking ownership of complex or sensitive cases and providing expert advice to the wider team as required.
Skills and Experience

  • Proven understanding of TUPE and associated consultation requirements.
  • Ability to work strategically while delivering hands‑on, operational HR support.
