About the Role:

Due to business expansion, we are currently looking for a new Lining Site Supervisor to report to the Lining Project Manager, based at our Bradford office. The role will cover contracts within the lining division. This position is best suited to someone who thrives in team management, possesses excellent man-management skills, strong communication skills, and can work well under pressure.

The ideal candidate MUST hold a UK driving license.

Location: Bradford, Yorkshire

Hours: 50 hours per week, 07:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Weekend work available.

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the project manager in planning and managing the lining teams.
  • Demonstrating strong man-management skills.
  • Conducting audits, ensuring compliance, and maintaining site safety in line with company policies and health and safety regulations.
  • Problem solving with analytical skills.
  • Interacting with customers and clients.
  • Managing fleet and plant operations.
  • Monitoring productivity.
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping and adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Providing positive and innovative input to the team.
  • Reporting safety issues in line with company procedures.
  • Demonstrating leadership qualities.
  • Attending weekly site meetings to discuss potential works and CPI’s.
  • Managing the live work bank daily, liaising with clients and lining teams, and reacting to high-priority jobs.

Experience and qualifications required:

  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Strong management experience.
  • Experience in customer and client interaction at all levels.
  • Proficiency in IT.
  • Experience with patching, lining, and robotic cutting.
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and work to deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic.
