Job summary

A waste management company is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver based out of Lochgilphead or Campbeltown, Argyll & Bute. This role involves operating LGV vehicles for waste transportation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. Ideal candidates will have a Full UK driving licence (C+E), a CPC card, and experience with hook lift and skip vehicles. Competitive pay at £14.50 per hour with additional overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Full UK driving licence (C+E).
• Demonstrated awareness of Health & Safety practices.
• Driver's CPC card is necessary.
• Experience with hook lift and skip vehicles is required.
• Ability to work independently is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate LGV vehicles for the transportation of waste material to landfill.
• Ensure compliance with driver hours’ rules and transport legislation.
• Maintain a good standard of vehicle cleanliness.
• Attend operational meetings as and when required.
