Qualifications

  • Experience in lettings, estate agency, or a customer-facing role is desirable.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required.
  • Good knowledge of the local area is a plus.

  • Register new tenant enquiries and match them with suitable properties.
  • Book and conduct property viewings.

We’re hiring for a Lettings Agent for a well‑established and growing lettings agency in East Yorkshire, known for personal service, strong local knowledge, and commitment to both landlords and tenants.

The Role

As a Lettings Agent, you’ll be the face of the business, working directly with prospective tenants and landlords to ensure a smooth letting process from enquiry through to move‑in. You’ll handle a variety of responsibilities that combine customer service, property management, and sales skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registering new tenant enquiries and matching them with suitable properties
  • Booking and conducting property viewings
  • Negotiating rental terms between landlords and tenants
  • Managing offers, referencing, and tenancy progression
  • Creating marketing material and advertising listings online
  • Maintaining regular communication with landlords and tenants
  • Supporting the wider lettings team with administrative tasks
  • Ensuring compliance with lettings legislation and internal policies
To Be Successful
  • Experience in lettings, estate agency, or a customer‑facing role (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and professional attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Good knowledge of the local area (a plus!)
Whats On Offer
  • Competitive salary + bonus
  • 40 hour working week
  • You will be required to work two Saturdays (9am‑12pm) a month, which is either paid in time +1/3 or in lieu
  • Mileage allowance at 45p per mile, for property visits
  • Cash health plan
  • 30 days holiday, plus the option to buy and sell 2 extra days
