A reputable legal services provider in Tonbridge is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary (Conveyancing) to provide comprehensive administrative support to their established team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in conveyancing, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. This is a Monday to Friday role offering a salary dependent on experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, with demonstrable expertise in conveyancing.
  • Strong understanding of conveyancing procedures.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the conveyancing team.
  • Handle all related correspondence and legal documentation for property transactions.
  • Assist in preparing and managing contracts, leases, transfers, and other legal paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all files are up-to-date.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in property transactions.
  • Conduct property searches and gather necessary documentation.
  • Schedule appointments and manage diaries.

Job Title: Legal Secretary (Conveyancing) | Location: Tonbridge | Salary: Dependent on experience | Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00
